You can download this pattern for FREE from my website here. Or if you’d like to contribute $2 to my son’s college fund you can buy it from Ravelry!

I wanted to knit something simple and wearable with a color way that my son (Emma’s little brother) developed, dyed, and sold to help pay for his first semester in college. You can purchase the color here. 100% goes to him for college.

It’s just a simple garter stitch triangular shawl. Nothing new, just simple. I call for an i-cord cast on and a slipped stitch edge. I used one color of fingering weight yarn but you could use many colors in any weight of yarn (adjust your needles to give you the fabric you like). It would make a fun scrappy project too.

Sometimes you just need a little something that you can keep tucked away in your bag and pull out when the air chills to wrap around your neck. Or a Little something to knit while chatting with friends or to use up that perfect souvenir skein or all the scraps from your beloved projects… just a lil something.
