Lilian is my second blanket inspired by design elements in Persian carpets; it’s named after a carpet making area of Iran.
My mother was called Lilian, she loved bright colours and so I chose some of her favourites, which included turquoise/jade and pink.

BLANKET SIZE
approx 150 cm X 165cm (60 x 65 inches)

HOOK SIZE
Crochet hook in size 3/3.25 mm.

YARN
4 Ply/Fingering weight yarn
(360 metres/390 yards per 100 gms/3.5 oz)

The blanket is made with oddments/scraps of yarn left over from other projects
However if you prefer to buy new yarn you can choose from the yarn brands below, you do not need to use the same dye lots.
