Lilith Stole
My design entry for #happinesmakealong2017
relaxing device-watching knit - Deniceworld
In Jewish folklore, Lilith appears as Adam’s first wife, who was created at the same time and from the same dirt as Adam. Lilith left the Garden of Eden and Adam after she refused to become subservient to him.
Triquetra, the Celtic symbol of triple goddesses, the symbol of women power!
This stole is worked top down. Base of the stole is moss stitch with garter stitch edging and celtic cables form the triquetra in the corner.
There is an error in the pattern when starting to work the cables. Check out this post for more info. I’ll update in a couple of days.
