Lily of the Valley
This capelet is worked in the round in a feather and fan pattern that creates a wavy bottom edge. A keyhole is created near the neckline, and pulling fabric from both sides through this keyhole allows you to adjust the size of the neck opening. In addition, the fabric pulled through looks like a cute bow accenting the neckline.
NEEDLES
Size U.S. 7 (4.5 mm): 24” (61 cm) or longer circular (cir).
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
GAUGE
19 sts and 31 rnds = 4” (10 cm) in Feather and Fan patt after blocking.
18 sts and 30 rnds = 4” (10 cm) in St st.
