Lily of the Valley
This shawl is another collaboration with my good friend Emma of The Little Grey Sheep. Emma and I met about 5 years ago and have collaborated on a number of designs together. Using her beautiful yarns is a privilege and absolute pleasure as they stand for everything close to my heart: Farming and living ethically and sustainably, producing less waste and doing my bit to help save our beautiful mother earth. All yarn is hand-dyed by Emma on the farm and is available in array of the most beautiful colours. The only difficulty is choosing which shades to work with.
Lily of the Valley is worked from the bottom up starting with the lace border, comprising of simple yarn over’s and small bobbles. The crescent shape is achieved by working short rows and the result is a long shallow shawl that is very easy to wear.
