The Limelight Bag is a fun tapestry crochet bag made of 13 solid granny squares. The squares are joined together with an invisible slip stitch join before adding top edging and handles.

The Limelight Bag is perfect for brightening up any outfit and holding your bits and bobs for a fun day out.

The bag is made with:

Hobbii Tweed Dreams (100% acrylic; DK; 100 m; 50 g):
A: Peacock (31) – 2 balls
B: Spring Leaves (25) – 1 ball
C: Sea Salt (01) – 2 balls

You could substitute for other similar thickness acrylic or cotton yarns.

I found Hobbii Tweed Dreams to be quite a thick DK yarn (the recommended hook size is 5.5 mm). As such, you may prefer to use aran weight yarns when looking for alternatives, or hold two strands of DK yarn double.

The bag measures 34 cm x 34 cm (not including handles).

The pattern contains full written instructions (in English) and is provided in both US and UK crochet terms.

A colorwork chart is provided although the written instructions are complete without it.
