notes
Reverse stockinette stitch ridges alternate with 2x2 ribs
to make a knitted fabric that looks like a clunky woven
pattern. The stocking-cap version of the hat is super
easy—once the stitch pattern is established, you work
without shaping to the peak of the crown. The fitted cap
is shaped within the stitch pattern—on the knit-side rounds
of the ridge sections.
