Linden Shawl
Increasing twice the rate at the edges than at the center, Linden is long enough to wrap comfortably around your shoulders. A simple eyelet pattern creates a curving line for the body, and a knit-on edging completes the look. For Courtney, the shawl is her favorite shawl shape: a curved reflex angle (greater than 180°, but less than 360°) that stays put on the shoulders better than a traditional triangular shawl. “This was originally going to be a Faroese style shawl, but with a 2 year old at home to ‘help,’ I opted for a similar shape but much, much simpler patterning.”
