Lindenroot

This cabled hat gives you 2 options; make it either fitted or slouchy. The twisted cable stitches remind me of trees and roots; this is a stretchy pattern that is easy to work.
The hat is worked from the brim up to the crown, and then decreases make an attractive pattern at the top.
Knit one up and make quick use of your favorite worsted weight wool!
This is an intermediate/advanced beginner pattern, you need to be able to do simple cables, increase and decrease.

Cable needle, tapestry needle
Pattern Notes
- Hat is worked in the round from the bottom up; directions for cable pattern are written and charted.
- Both ribbing and cable patterns are quite stretchy – when you achieve stockinette gauge, you should use that needle size for the main body of the hat and go down one or two needle sizes for the ribbing.
