Traditional patterns from the Faroe Island decorate this handy bag. The little men and women are lining up to dance the annual line dance on the longest day of the year.

The bag is worked all in one piece, with just the side seams to sew in back stitch, before felting.

The pattern includes instructions for a clever fix around the handle and the top of the bag, to prevent stretching.

Three strands of 4 ply yarn are held together to make this bag, or use 456 meters of bulky/chunky weight yarn. If substituting yarn, make sure to choose something that will felt.

The stranded colour work is charted, and there are instructions for how to work a provisional cast on, and how to felt the bag too.

Use it as a laptop bag, or a project bag, or whatever you fancy.
