Lineamante is a striped scarf worked on the bias in two different directions, with one split end and one scalloped edge, and many ways to wrap it around yourself.

The name is a mashup of two Spanish words:
Linea means stripe and amante means lover

A video tutorial provides instruction on how to create the scallop motif, with a couple of sweet tricks.

Choose one solid-colored yarn and one variegated yarn or two solid-colored yarns in lace weight or fingering -- or any other weight. The instructions guide you to divide your yarn between the two sections so you can use any yarn weight you please. (A digital scale is recommended for dividing the yarn, regardless of yarn weight chosen.)
