Very cute and versatile blanket. The pattern is a simple combination of knit and purl stitches. The blocks alternate fron a modified garter and seed stitch. The pattern is very rewarding and easy to follow. Original pattern calls for about 1,100 yards (5 skeins) but I found I needed 6 skeins.
