Linen stitch is an amazing and simple pattern. I have seen many references for using linen stitch to play with color. I decided four complementary placemats would be a fun and practical way to experiment with two colors. Each placemat uses a different linen stitch pattern in addition to the one-color linen stitch pattern at the ends and in the center. The placemats use only three skeins of yarn and make a lovely accent to a table setting.
