This crochet pattern is for a temperature blanket, with different colours representing the minimum and maximum daily temperatures for a year. The days are worked in rows using the interlocking crochet style so you end up with a series of lines and stripes, and a double-thickness blanket.

Hobbii 8/6 Rainbow Cotton was used to make the blanket you see in the photos. Although the amount of yarn used may vary depending on the number of foundation chain you choose to begin with, a base foundation chain length of 323 will require 4100 grams (143.5 ounces) or 8610 metres (9430 yards) of yarn. The quantities for each colour varies depending on your local weather.

Included in the PDF are optional colour charts for either 50, 40, 30, 25, 20, or 10 colours for you to choose from, as well as a table for each month which can be used to track your daily temperatures.
