Linien bag is all about lines, horizontal, vertical, sloped, curved and even crossed. Knit a small bag to carry a few essentials up to a roomier tote sized bag. Entire bag is worked in stockinette stitch and instructions are included for three sizes. You will need DK weight yarn, circular needles and stitch markers. Cast on using Judy’s Magic Cast-On and work in the round from the bottom up. Straps are worked back and forth and grafted together at the top. Sample bags are knit with cotton yarn, but this design can be knit with wool or synthetic yarns. This bag is knit at a tighter gauge to produce a firm and dense fabric. Blocking is required. Enjoy!
