Liquorice Allsorts is an interesting construction; first work the striped vertical black and pink yoke band (effectively a 15 stitch long scarf). Then work the 4ply green welt along one edge of the striped band, then work the top yoke section (with some decreases), return to the bottom/other edge and work another 4ply green welt. Work the body section with some increases including the dot motif from the chart. Return to work the sleeves, sew-in ends and viola! you have yourself a fun throw-on easy to wear jumper/sweater.

The main part of the garment is worked in DK and the welts in 4ply. You can create a very different vibe for this design by using a completely different colour palette. Enjoy.
