This loose and playful cardigan is the perfect addition to any wardrobe. Make it in a solid color for a wardrobe staple or practice your colorwork skills with a fun check pattern that will really stand out. If you’re feeling adventurous, make a larger size and let it felt in the dryer for a more structured jacket.

The cardigan is made from the bottom up in one piece until separating for the fronts and back. The left front is extra wide to allow for some overlap in the front and the right front includes a playful increase panel for attaching toggles.

Finished Measurements
Finished bust measures 35 (40, 45, 50, 55) (60, 65, 70, 75)” in circumference. Meant to be worn with 6-8” of positive ease. Listed as sizes 1 (2, 3, 4, 5) (6, 7, 8, 9).

Note, if you plan to felt, make 2-3 sizes larger with 16-20 inches of positive ease (pre-felting). NOTE: felting is risky, and there is a high chance your sweater will shrink too much- proceed with caution!
