Based on the Little Arrowhead Lace pattern, this hat serves as a pattern for instructors to introduce students to yarnovers and lace.

It’s a fast knitting project that can easily be finished within one longer session or extended to two shorter sessions.

Any worsted weight yarn can be used. A lesson plan is included along with a pattern to present to students. There are instructions for making the yarn over in seven situations. The hat allows practice for yarn overs before and after purl and knit stitches. Three decreases are used.
