ABOUT THE PATTERN
The Little Bluestem Cowl uses basic techniques to evoke little bluestem grass on the prairie. On late Fall days, little bluestem dances with the wind and paints the prairie in shades of green, brown and red. This cowl offers two versions – the Short Version features all-over repeats of bluestem stalks while the Long Version is worked with a front and back bluestem panel between stockinette stitch sections. The waving stalks are formed with basic increases and decreases, no cables or cable needles needed.
