This cardigan is worked from the bottom up in pieces. The button bands are worked at the same time as the fronts. The fronts and back are joined at the shoulders, the sleeves are picked up and worked to the wrist, and then the side seams are sewn. The lapel collar is formed by folding back the fronts.
