Little Cotton Pompom
Cotton Pompom is knit using two strands of yarn held together: Brooklyn Tweed shelter (I’ve used the Woodsmoke colorway) & Knitting for Olive Silk mohair.
The best thing about this colorway is that it’s hiding all the yogurt and other food leftovers and stains really well haha.
The combination is heaven! Rustic yarn + a silky thread is my favourite!
This design is a fairly simple knit: it’s basically a rectangle, knit bottom up. The only tricky bit I would say is the shaping in pattern that happens for the neckline and the armhole. If you’re an experience knitter, it shouldn’t be difficult for you to read your knitting, but if you are a little bit less comfortable with lace, this jumper could be a good exercise to help you understand how the shaping in lace is constructed!
