This vest is worked in one piece from the bottom up to the armhole, where the fronts and back are divided and completed separately, then the shoulder seams are sewn together. It is a short, slightly oversized garment to fit a range of ages from approximately 2 to 10 years, but you should knit according to the measurements of the recipient as kids vary in size.
