The Little Gemstones Blanket is the perfect pattern for when you have lots and lots of little leftovers of 4ply / fingering weight yarn, or perhaps you’ve got an advent set or two you want to use up.

This blanket is knit in one piece from end to end with short rows used to create the gemstones and no picking up stitches or seaming.

Choose a colour theme or go rogue and use all the colours!

Each gemstone uses a max of 9yds / 8m of yarn. Total yardage shown here is the absolute max that you would need.

Sample is shown in Knit Picks Felici Bare (BC) and numerous different 4ply / fingering weight yarns for the gemstones.

Without modification the pattern creates a total of 127 (233, 371) gems.
