Haakon (Little Haakon)
This adorable sweater is 99 percent easy and 2 percent purling in colorwork. A little colorwork goes a long way in this pullover. You can find this pattern in Chapter 4 of the Nordic Knitting Primer. Named after my grandfather’s grandfather, Little Haakon reminds me of what Lasse would wear in my mother’s favorite book Children of the North. I grew up dreaming about sledding with reindeer thanks to that book, and I think that dream turned into this sweater. Hang tight, because a grown-up version is coming to my shop. I think you are going to love this unique construction!! It’s a super fun knit!
