This is a pattern for a small highland cow about 9.5 inches high when knitted in worsted weight yarn. I knit mine in Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok Worsted. Gauge and yarn weight don’t really matter as long as you get a dense fabric so that the stuffing doesn’t show through. Thicker yarn will give you a larger cow and thinner yarn will yield a smaller cow. The pattern also includes directions for the sweater and skirt. The cabled sweater is charted, not written out.
