Little Moth Shawlette
This sweet shawlette is inspired by the hundreds of moths fluttering at dusk on my father’s ranch in Colorado. The shawlette is worked primarily in stockinette relying on increases and decreases to subtly shape the traditional triangle shawl into swooping wings. The Silky Merino DK in Bosques is showcased beautifully. The shaping highlights the variations in tone and color while mimicking the dappling of a moth’s wings.
