Little Newz Hat is a cute baby hat covered in sweet cables and completed with a tiny brim.

The hat is knit on 2 straight needles and when sewn up, it is difficult to see the seam because of the cable pattern. The brim is knit and added after.

The hat measures apprx 15 inches around and 6 inches long.

1 ball of Lion Brand Wool Ease Worsted Weight
Cable Hook
Darning Needle

K tbl -Knit stitch through back loop
P—purl
C2 over 3 left -sl2 to CN, hold in front. k3, k2 from CN
Ssk- Slip one stitch as if to knit, Slip another stitch as if to knit. Insert left-hand needle into front of these 2 stitches and knit them together
K2 tog- Knit two stitches together as one stitch
