I’m so excited to bring you my first children’s pattern!! This sweater is amazing for using up your stash since it’s knit with fingering weight held double.  Using one Main color held throughout the whole garment while you’re switching out your minis.  If you’re like me you’ll be spending hours in your stash creating all the color possibilities.  I already have two more color combinations planned for the girls!

Sizes:
3-6 months, 6-12 months, 1-2 year, 2-4 year, 4-6 year, 6-8 year

Chest circumference: 17 (19, 20, 22) (24, 26) inches / 43.1 ( 48.2, 50.8, 55.8) (60.9, 66) cm

Needles:
US 6 / 4.0 mm circular needle 16 inches and 24 inches
US 6 / 4.0 mm dpns or long circular needle for magic loop
US 8 / 5.0 mm circular needle 16 inches and 24 inches
US 8 / 5.0 mm dpns or long circular needle for magic loop
or size needed to obtain gauge

Yarn:

Sample Number 1: Knit using Tippy Tree Yarns in Ice Castle with 5 mini skeins and white contrast.

Yardage
Fingering weight yarn held double throughout the whole garment. Yardage is divided between the main colour and mini skeins. Use as many or as little mini skeins as you want just ensure you have enough
yardage. (You can do this by dividing the number of mini skeins by the yardage)

Main colour held double for the whole garment: 240 (260, 320, 380) (460, 540) yards
Mini skeins total yardage: 240 (260, 320, 380) (460, 540) yards

Gauge (wet blocked) in Stockinette with larger needle:
20 stitches per 28 rows 4 inches/ 10.1 cm
