This fun stocking pattern combines single crochets and treble crochets to create a cozy texture.

These mini stockings are great to hang as ornaments, on the mantel and in a garland or use as utensil holders on the table for your holiday meal.

Designed as part of the Let It Snow Blog Hop, 2025.

Materials:

• 45 Yards (20 Grams) in Total of Worsted Weight Yarn – I used Lion Brand Pound of Love in White plus Cherry, Oxford Grey and Olive
• H8/5mm Crochet Hook
• Tapestry Needle

Material Notes:
Feel free to substitute the Pound of Love for your favorite worsted weight yarn. Gauge is not essential for this project. You could even go with a chunky weight yarn and respective size hook for a larger stocking.

Time Spent:
Just under 45 minutes

Measurements:
Roughly 2 7/8” wide by 6”

Gauge:
Gauge is not essential for this decor project, but if you want your stocking to be about the same size as mine, you can check your gauge with the diameter after Round 2.

Lion Brand Pound of Love, much like Red Heart Super Saver, varies in thickness and that can be per color or per skein. I made 3 stockings and I got 3 different measurements for each one. I used White as the base for all of them so even if you meet my gauge after Round 2, your stocking can still end up in the ranges I’ve provided depending on the thickness of the yarn you’re working with.
