For a cute little companion, try this Little Pig Purse! He is knit in the round from the snout to the rear. Stitches are picked up from the body to knit the legs, the ears and the tail. The bag is felted in a washing machine or dryer, then shaped post-felting. The zipper is sewn in place by hand and handles attached.

MATERIALS:

Yarn: 5 skeins Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Worsted; Color: Blossom Heather; 460 yards

Needles: Size US 10.5 circular needle, Size US 10.5 double pointed needles to work in the round (or size to meet gauge)

Notions: 6” metal zipper- pink to match yarn, pink or clear sewing thread, 12 mm black plastic safety eyes, fiberfill, scissors, sewing needle, tapestry needle
