Little Sprout Shawl is a surprisingly quick project worked with 2 strands of dk weight yarn. The highly textured stitches create eye catching visual appeal and the yarn cakes create the perfect fade. This shawl ends up measuring almost 6’ across when blocked.

Details:
In order to get your yarn to create a fade, you will want to pick 2 cakes that have the same color order and are just slightly different. ie: Both cakes are red, yellow, blue however the first cake has half of the red in the middle the other half of the red on the outer most edge. This will create the fade you see in the example shown.

Advanced Beginner
Knowledge of the bead stitch, treble crochet is required.

Materials:
2 Lion Brand Mandala cakes (Streetlights used here) or 1080 yards dk weight as you will be holding the yarn double.
8.0mm crochet hook L
Darning needle
Scissors
