The Lizzie Shawl has been designed to add a little bit of style, colour and warmth to your day. It is named after my lovely friend Lizzie. We met through knitting and it felt like we had been friends forever. She also brings a little bit of style, colour and warmth to my day.

The shawl is created by knitting from tip to tip so you never have too many stitches on your needle. The main body of the shawl is garter with a simple slip stitch and dip stitch border along the lower edge and an i-cord along the top. The pattern was designed in fingering weight yarn but could be knit in a variety of yarn weights and types. It would also be fun to fade scraps. If you use a heavier yarn, more yarn may be required.
