Lizzie the Amigurumi Bumble Bee
by Susan Yeates
Lizzie is a great project for beginners to amigurumi. Starting from the head we work along the body in rounds, alternating from yellow to black yarn and ending with the pointy sting at the end.
Lizzie has tiny little wings and big eyes that are constructed separately to the body and then sewn on at the end… not to mention her cute little smile!
Small amounts of yarn needed for this project. In addition to yellow, black and a small amount of white yarn, you will need:
3mm crochet hook
2.5 mm crochet hook
Stitch marker
Toy stuffing
Darning needle and scissors
Black embroidery thread
Two black 5mm press-through eyes
