The Ljung sweater is a modern design with a touch of retro — reminiscent of an old-school staple perfect for forest walks or as a cosy layer under your jacket on a cold winter’s day. Its textured pattern creates a 3D effect that changes character depending on your colour palette. The fabric is built using slipped, knit and purl stitches, working with only one colour at a time. Designed to make you feel both comfortable and well-dressed, Ljung is a timeless garment to reach for year after year. “Ljung” is the Swedish name for “heather” (Calluna vulgaris).

NOTES
Ljung is a straight, round-yoked sweater worked from the top down in one piece, for a seamless construction. German Short Rows are worked at the back neck to raise the yoke, ensuring a comfortable fit. A repeating textured pattern is featured throughout the body and sleeves, and the 1 x 1 Rib neckline is folded for extra warmth and softness. Body and cuffs are finished with 1 x 1 Rib and a Tubular BO.
