Child’s and Adult’s pullover featuring llama motif often found in Latin American designs. Sweater is worked in stranded two-color knitting in the round to the start of the neck shaping, with steeks for the armhole openings. Neck shaping is worked back and forth in rows to the shoulders. Sleeves are worked in the round with facings at the upper edges to cover the raw edges of the steeked armhole openings.

Finished Measurements:

  • Bust/Chest circumference: approx. 32¼ (37¼, 37¼, 43)“ / 82 (94.5, 94.5, 109) cm
  • Adult version has longer body and sleeves than the child’s version

Yarn: Fingering-weight, super fine yarn

  • About 100 (150, 175, 200) grams of a medium color (A)
  • About 100 (125, 150, 175) grams of a dark color (B)
  • About 50 (60, 80, 100) grams of a light color (C)
  • Model in book used Isager Alpaca 2 (50% merino, 50% alpaca; 247m / 270yds; 50g / 1.76oz): 2 (3, 3, 4) skeins for Color A; 2 (3, 3, 4) skeins for Color B; and 1 (2, 2, 2) skeins for Color C.

Needles:
