Lobstah Cardigan is meant to be a celebration of classic New England culture and seaside enjoyment. Toss over your shoulders at a Lobster bake, or worn snug on your next sail the hope is that this Lobstah will be your companion on many a coastal adventures.

The sweater is knit from the top down, with some short row shaping to raise the back of the neck for comfort. The colorwork chart is started after the short rows and continues to the underarm separation.
Once working the body and sleeves, a stripe pattern is introduced. (Feel free to knit this section in a solid color if that suits your taste.) This 8 row repeat makes knitting engaging. For the sleeves it allows for easy decreases tracking! Finish everything off with a simple rib and you will be ready to take your Lobastah cardigan out for a stroll..
This pattern is medium difficulty because of the yoke chart. The yoke goes by quickly. Use tacking sparingly in the yoke to control floats at your desired rate being sure to AVOID stacking a tack from one round to the next in the same column of stitches.
