Local Flock Set
This pattern includes instructions for both the cowl and fingerless mitts.
Cowl:
US 8 needles, straight or circular to knit flat
4 skeins of yarn (380 yards)
Finished cowl is 9” wide with a circumference of 29”
This piece is knit as a long strip, then the cast on and bind off edges are seamed together.
Fingerless Mitts:
US 4 & US 6 needles, double pointed to knit in the round
2 skeins of yarn (190 yards)
Finished mitts have a hand circumference of 5.75” ]
Mitts are worked in the round with intentionally rolled edges.
There is some errata in the original version for this pattern: in the thumb gusset section, it should have 27 sts, not 21 as listed. This has been corrected in Version 2 of the pattern, which is now the one available for download.
