What will you need?
420 meter handdyed sock yarn; 1 main colour and 4 contrast colours (50 grs mc, 4x 10 gr cc)
2 contrasting colours of scrap yarn for provisional cast on

Embrace the lock, stripey socks are the key!
You can brighten up those lockdown days with bouncy stripes. Two charts are included- the first for a logical pattern and the second is slightly more challenging – just like life in lockdown days!

The cuff starts with a special cast on, but feel free to use your own preferred method.
The stripey stitch pattern on the leg and foot is very simple and I’m sure it won’t take long to memorize. It’s only 6 sts wide and repeats itself after round 44.
The heel is a shortrow heel with a mini gusset. Knit it with the main colour yarn or contrast colour.
There’s a second chart on the bonus shortie sock, with moving lines. That was my thought – the lockdown will lift someday and life will start moving again.
