2-colour brioche knitting (or single colour brioche)

Description
The hat can be worked in either 1 or two colours. Begin by first working the crown panel in brioche stitch and shaping the bangs and frill using decorative increases. Stitches are then picked up along the edge of the brioche section and the sides of the hat are worked in open-honeycomb lace stitch. The ear flaps are shaped individually using the German short row method. Cast-off the hat and work i-cords to finish.
