I originally designed these mittens for my friend Nick, who took these photos. He was taking photos of me for another pattern and we were both standing trying to keep our hands warm. Nick said that he doesn’t usually wear anything on his hands because it gets difficult to operate his camera. I decided that what he really needed was a pair of flip top mittens where the thumb flips as well. They are perfect for taking photos, using a touch screen phone, and adventures of all kinds.
