A classically styled jacket-with side decreases for a feminine fit, rounded front edges, and set-in sleeves-has lots of stitch-count changes and so poses challenges. Combining a strongly dyed sock-weight merino with 2 strands of lace-weight kid mohair softens and blurs the color changes and minimizes any tendency to pattern. The merino with its crisp color changes becomes a perfect choice for bias-band trim.
