Lonely Road features an unusual color blocked garter stitch shape.
The shawl begins with two modules of knit fabric.
At some point they are grafted and the shawl is finished in one piece.

Materials and tools
Yarn:
2 skeins of Malabrigo arroyo (100% merino) 335yd/306m to 100g/3.5oz 1 in Reflecting Pool and 1 in Martes
2 3.5mm (US 4) 40 inch (100 cm) long circular needles
4 stitch markers
Tapestry needle
Techniques and skills involved
Garter tab cast on, grafting garter stitch, short rows, basic increases.
Pattern difficulty: intermediate
Dimensions
Width : 76 inches (193 cm)
Height: 20 inches (51 cm)
Gauge
19 sts x 46 rows (23 ridges) = 4 inches/10 cm in garter stitch
