Long John PJs Top
Unlike other designs in the book, there is no ease in this design because it is intended to be worn either for layering or as pajamas. However, it features a stretchy waffle knit pattern (a Grow-With-Me-Tip!) so you don’t have to worry about it being outgrown overly quickly. Still, size up if you’d rather it be worn as an outer layer or just don’t want as snug of a fit. Shown in size 6. Check out the bottoms here.
Size: 4 (6, 8, 10, 12)
Finished Chest: 23 (25, 27.25, 29.25, 31.25)”
Gauge: 23 sts and 32 rows per 4” in stockinette
Yarn: 460 (540, 640, 740, 840) yards sport weight yarn, shown in Lorna’s Laces Sportmate in “Cedar”
Tools: Size 5 (3.75 mm) 24” circular needles and set of 5 DPNs, stitch markers
Pattern Notes
- Sweater is worked bottom-up with seamless raglan-style sleeves.
- These PJs are sized with no ease or negative ease to be a snug fit as an underlayer.
