Looking For Treasures Tee
The Looking For Treasures Tee is a lightweight garment that plays with transparency and monochromatic shades. The tee is knitted from the top down in stocking (stockinette) stitch, using a variation of the intarsia technique, similar to marling, to create a botanical
abstract motif on the front.
First, you knit the back from the neckline to the point at the base where the ribbing will begin. Next, you pick up the stitches for the front and knit this side from the top down as well. The shoulder seams sit slightly towards the back, and both the front and back
shoulders are shaped with short rows. After finishing the front, work the bottom ribbing all the way around the garment in the round, then do the same for the neck ribbing. After this, you close the side seams, then pick up and knit stitches for the short sleeves, which are also worked in round. To finish the tee, add ribbing to
each sleeve.
