This cardigan uses Shibui Maai, a chained alpaca and merino blend. This creates a delightfully light fabric. I used larger needles than suggested for a light drape. The cardigan is knit from the bottom up to the armholes. The sleeves are then worked and joined to the body with a raglan construction. The front bands use a reversible cable.
