This shawl is a perfect companion for cold days in harvest or winter. Especially the sophisticated slings are real eyecatchers and help fixing the shawl to your shoulders.

You’ll need approx 1100 yds of 10ply Worsted or Aran yarn - or any yarn to obtain gauge of 17 sts 23 rows in 4”. The final dimensions are 25.5” x 78” (65 x 198 cm), measured without fringes.

I used 14 balls of Drops “Nepal” in camel (# 0618m) and US 8 (5 mm) needles.

The pattern is charted and available in English and German.

Man benötigt ca. 1000 m 10ply Worsted oder Aran Garn - oder jede andere Qualität, die die Maschenprobe von 17 M und 23 R auf 10 cm ergibt. Die Maße des Schals: 65 x 198 cm (gemessen ohne Fransen).
