MATERIALS
Worsted Weight Yarn:
Purple - 13 ounces, (370 grams, 735 yards)
Blue - 9 ounces, (260 grams, 510 yards)
Green - 6 ounces, (170 grams, 340 yards)
Brown - 6 ounces, (170 grams, 340 yards)
Rust - 6 ounces, (170 grams, 340 yards)
Red - 6 ounces, (170 grams, 340 yards)
Crochet hook, size I (5.50 mm) or size needed for gauge
Note: Each row is worked across length of Afghan.
Afghan is worked using two strands of yarn, forming
stitches with first color and working over one strand of
second color, carrying yarn with normal tension across top
of previous row. Do not cut yarn unless instructed.
GAUGE: In pattern, 12 sts and 10 rows = 4”
Gauge Swatch: 4” square
With Blue, ch 13 loosely.
Row 1: With Blue and working over Purple, sc in second
ch from hook, hdc in next ch, (sc in next ch, hdc in next
ch) across: 12 sts.
Rows 2-10: With Blue, ch 1, turn; working over Purple, sc
in first hdc, hdc in next sc, (sc in next hdc, hdc in next sc)
across.
Finish off.
