From September 2017 to April 2018, I was an alpaca and fiber intern at White Violet Center for Eco-Justice. I fell in love the the animals and their fiber! I designed this hat using yarn from the alpacas that I worked with those 7 months.

White Violet Center for Eco-Justice is a ministry of the Sisters of Providence at St. Mary of the Woods, Indiana. Home to 320 acres of forest land, 40 alpacas, and a 5-acre USDA Certified Organic Community Supported Agriculture program.
