The Louie Louie Scarf is a bias-knit accessory that pairs two very different yarns to create something special. BUKU Yarns Safari Sock and Silky Kid Lace work together to give this scarf drape, texture and a soft halo that makes the colors glow.

The construction is straightforward. You cast on, work through three distinct sections using alternating colors, and finish with an i-cord bind off. No cutting yarn between color changes. Carry the unused color up the side and the i-cord takes care of the rest.

This is a great project for knitters who are comfortable with basic knitting and purling and want to try bias construction and i-cord finishing. If you have worked a few scarves and are ready for something with a little more interest, this one is for you.
