Louisa is a warm, light and cosy sweater, knitted in single pieces from bottom up. The V-neck sweater shows an interesting cable pattern on front and back part wich is divided by a V-neck at the front part and a purl stitch section with a small cable at the back part. The edgings are worked in a simple slip stitch patter.

Bust circumference of finished sweater:
37¾ (40, 43, 46, 51, 54) inches = 96 (102, 110, 118, 130, 138) cm

This sweater is intended to fit with about 8” - 10” 20 - 25 cm of positive ease at bust. Shown in size S with 8” 20 cm positive ease at bust.

Gauge:
26 sts and 36 rows = 4” (10 x 10 cm] in stockinette stitch with bigger needles (after blocking)

Materials:

  • any fingering yarn with a yardage of approx 405 yds/100 g (I used the hand dyed Buttjebeyy “Becca”) - you’ll need 4 (4, 5, 5, 6, 6) skeins US size 1.5 2,5 mm and 2.5 3,0 mm circular needles (or any size to obtain gauge )
